
Afformations and Long Term Weight
Loss
I believe an important aspect to long term weight
loss is the way we actually motivate ourselves. The
average person is thought to have over 40,000 thoughts
every day but how many of them are positive and make you
feel like you could take on Mount Everest? How many are
negative and put you down making you think that you're
not worthy and you deserve to be in the situation with
your weight? There are ways around negative self talk
with motivational self talk. Why not change half or even
all of the 40,000 thoughts into positive ones. It is you
and only you that can change your mindset to a positive
one where you are brimming with confidence, vitality and
a personal magnetism that shows people you love who you
are.
I know we all have our good days and bad days where
we feel so low that we just want to eat junk food and
laze about but if we can have some goal in mind, some
motivation for keeping to our plan of long term weight
loss then it makes it all the more worthwhile. So how do
we go about changing our mindset from negative to
positive? Through affirmations and
afformations.
Affirmations are powerful motivational phrases that
we can say to ourselves to change our mindset from
negative to positive. Some examples of affirmations may
be: I am losing weight so easily, I am at my ideal weight
etc. Most people know about affirmations but at times
when you may be having a really low day your brain may
just give up and go with the negativity even though it's
positive affirmations you are saying. The best way to get
around this is to say afformations to yourself.
Afformations are similar to affirmations but they work in
a more powerful way because we ask ourselves positive
questions. When we ask ourselves positive questions the
brain has to correspond by giving us what we want. Some
examples of afformations and long term weight loss could
be: why do I always stay at my desired weight, why does
the weight just drop off me so easily etc. There are
thousands and thousands of positive afformations you
could say to yourself to reach your goals of long term
weight loss. The key is your brain and positive phrases.
After saying the afformations every day about 20-30 times
for about a month you will be surprised how positive your
self talk will become. Afformations are very positive and
can be used in all aspects of your life. If you want to
achieve long term weight loss you can, just phrase your
motivational question to that of long term weight
loss.
